Zabaloon is a digital platform known globally for being an online library with a wide range of diverse content and also for being an old-fashioned search engine: easy, direct and without advertising, a formula that makes the platform gain countless online visitors daily from all over the world.

Zabaloon was founded by Vinni Maciel and launched on Sunday, February 15, 2015, with its headquarters in Brazil, and currently boasts the slogan: "With each click, a new discovery," and also a mascot symbolized by a goat.

The Zabaloon project originated between 2013 and 2014, when Vinni Maciel, observing the rapid growth of the internet, realized that search engines and directories were giving more emphasis (space) to advertising, leaving aside the initial glamour of conducting an objective and clean search, as was the case in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Global Audience

Currently, Zabaloon receives daily visits from internet users from various parts of the world, with numerous accesses from the USA, China, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other nations. In continental terms, the largest number of accesses come from the Americas and throughout Asia, followed by Europe.

The home page

Almost every week, Zabaloon's main page makes room to highlight a civic event or to honor a place, a company, or a personality. And in 2025, for example, there were countless stylized covers that delighted the public, including Halloween, Christmas, the arrival of the Summer/Winter seasons, a tribute to Wikipedia's 25th anniversary, and in 2026, many other incredible covers will be featured on our homepage.

With and without the domain

It may seem crazy, but the truth needs to be told: Zabaloon went many years without its own (official) domain. Even so, searches for Zabaloon on the internet only grew, even though it was initially on the Wix platform. However, a few years later, it migrated to Blogger (from Google), and traffic practically tripled.

The high demand for Zabaloon on the World Wide Web led Vinni Maciel to create the domain for Zabaloon for the first time, a feat that occurred in mid-2024, with the address: www.zabaloon.net.
