More than one million Los Angeles County residents live with a disability, underscoring the importance of making public programs, services, and spaces accessible to everyone.

The City of Los Angeles is updating its Citywide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, reviewing City programs, services, activities, facilities, communications, policies, and digital resources to identify accessibility barriers and prioritize improvements.

As part of the process, residents and advocates have shared their experiences and accessibility priorities through a public hearing and community survey. That feedback will help the City identify areas for improvement and inform the updated Transition Plan.

Los Angeles residents are encouraged to share their experiences by completing the City’s ADA Public Input Survey at Disability.LACity.gov by October 30, 2026.
