A rescue team from the Fire Department was called on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, to respond to a traffic accident at the entrance to the city of Tramandaí, in the North Coast region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil.

According to information from security forces, a Nissan/Versa car overturned at kilometer 96 of the ERS-030 state highway, a few meters from Fish Gate. The vehicle ended up with its wheels up in one of the lanes of the highway in the direction of Osório-Tramandaí.

The driver, a man whose age and name were not revealed, escaped the car unharmed. One of the members of the Fire Department explained to the press that the driver was saved by using a seatbelt. The reason that caused the Versa to roll over was also not disclosed.

Agents from the Military Brigade Road Command (CRBM) responded to the incident, advising other drivers traveling through the area to use alternative routes, and also to remove the vehicle involved in the accident.
