An argument between a couple, initially verbal, had a tragic outcome, evolving into a physical assault in a residence located in the city of Viana, province of Luanda, in Angola, a country located in southwest Africa.
The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) reported that the woman, aged 27, stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife, hitting him in the abdomen. The victim, identified as David Muhongo Gonçalves, aged 33, was taken to the hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, he did not survive and died.
The incident occurred around 11 pm on Saturday, April 5, in the Primeiro de Maio neighborhood, after the woman discovered that her husband was having a phone conversation with his ex-wife.
She was located on the night of the incident and taken to the local Public Prosecutor's Office, where her arrest was ordered, and later sent to the Penitentiary. On Monday, April 14, she was presented to the Luanda Court, detailed SIC.
