Not even the Google car escaped being recorded, especially in an unusual way, as occurred during the digital mapping of the streets of the Japanese city of Koya, in Wakayama Prefecture.
The Google car's registration in the round mirror, installed at strategic points on some streets, facilitating the trafficability of pedestrians and vehicles, occurred in July 2024, when it mapped the roads through 360° photographic lenses.
It is normal for the image of the internet giant's vehicle to be reflected in traffic mirrors and even in store windows. In several places around the world, it is possible to see the reflection of Google's car.
The photo was taken on Linha Koya Tenkawa Street, in a place with museums, temples and lots of trees. The area is quite wooded.

For Street View image enthusiasts, the image of the Google car in the oval mirror is available on the Google Maps and Google Earth platforms.
Local curiosity: the Street View mapping service occurred eight times, between 2012 and 2024. The Google car appeared in the round mirror, located on a corner in the Ito District, on five occasions: April 2013, February 2014, December 2014, May 2021 and July 2024.
