Ayatollah Khatami Square in high resolution | Photo: Amir Karkiyan

Ayatollah Khatami Square is a public leisure space located in the city of Ardakan, Yazd Province, Iran. In the center of the leisure complex, there is a large space with water and 12 fountains, which spout water day and night, beautifying the square.

In April 2024, images, likely captured by a drone, revealed updated images of Ayatollah Khatami Square. The angle of the image makes it possible to view the entire space, from sidewalks, lawns and trees, as well as avenues that surround the square, with great clarity.

The author of the updated images of Ayatollah Khatami Square, identified as Amir Karkiyan, attached the digital photographic record to the Google Maps platform, making it possible for the global population to view and know the details of this public space, which has an oval shape and surrounded by avenues .

The internet giant, Google, updates images of the square from time to time, however, the quality is not as splendid as was seen in April this year.

It is also possible to view the square through the sky or space, using Bing Maps, but the image is not as clear either. To view it through internet mechanisms, just click on the commands below the photo, at the beginning of this page.
